The Continuous Performance Improvement Academy was founded by Richard Hanzl, a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Design For Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Lean Management Change Architect.

Richard founded the CPI Academy with one goal in mind, provide affordable Continuous Performance Improvement training and certification programs based on actual implementations done in multiple industries both domestically and internationally.

These programs will enable professionals to quickly and accurately apply these tools and methodologies in real-world applications providing immediate benefit to both the practitioner and the company the practitioner works for.

In addition, the CPI Academy provides the additional benefit that any individual certified by the CPI Academy has the full backing and support of the Master Black Belt who trained and certified him/her. Unlike other certifying companies that will provide a certificate with a certification number, those trained and certified by the CPI Academy will be professionally supported upon certification. We also encourage any potential employer of any of our graduates to contact us directly, and we will be more than happy to discuss their training and capabilities with them. In other words, we are so confident in our training and certification programs; we back them with our own instructor's professional reputations.

Current programs focus specifically on the traditional training and development of Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma professionals. However, we do offer Design For Six Sigma, Lean Management, and Master Black Belt programs upon request.
